Keeping Your Child Safe and Secure
We understand how significant it is to leave your little one in a new nursery—it’s a big step. As parents ourselves, we know how it feels, and you can rest assured that your child’s safety and wellbeing are always our top priority. We only employ highly trained nursery workers who share our commitment to creating a secure and caring environment. Registered with the appropriate legal bodies, we strictly follow robust policies and procedures because your child’s happiness and childhood are far too precious to leave to chance.
We have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and a Deputy DSL who are the first point of contact for safeguarding and child protection enquiries in our
setting. Our DSL has the responsibility to ensure that everyone within the setting is following best safeguarding and child protection practices. As a setting we believe that it’s essential that our knowledge is in-depth and up-to-date, therefore we have in-house training regularly
Ofsted
Our nursery is registered with Ofsted, and we welcome inspectors for both scheduled and short-notice visits to ensure the highest standards of care are consistently maintained.
Robust Policies and Procedures
Our safeguarding policies and procedures have been carefully developed in collaboration with approved, independent specialists and are implemented in our nursery to protect every child in our care.
DBS-Clearance
Every team member undergoes enhanced DBS checks and comprehensive training, starting from induction, to ensure they fully understand and implement our safeguarding and child protection policies. Only staff with DBS clearance are permitted to work unsupervised with children.

Training
Our lead safeguarding officers work closely with the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) and local authority children’s social care teams, regularly updating their training to stay ahead in child protection practices.

Security
Safety is paramount in our nursery. We have stringent security measures in place to prevent unauthorised access, and all visitors are fully supervised. We use RING security system to monitor visitors to the nursery at all times.
